MILAN – SPRING 2024

I spent a couple of days in Milan in the spring. By pure luck, some close friends were in the city at the same time, so what started as a simple stop turned into a few unforgettable days together.

We explored the city the best way possible—walking, eating, and seeing where the day took us. One dinner in particular still lives in my head. The kind of meal where everything just clicks: the food, the wine, the conversation, the moment. I still think about it.

In between, we grabbed street food—simple mortadella sandwiches that somehow tasted perfect in that moment. And one night we squeezed into Backdoor 43, the world’s smallest cocktail bar. Tiny space, huge personality. One of those places that feels like a secret you’re lucky to stumble into.

Mostly though, it was about the people. A few days wandering Milan with close friends, good food, and no real agenda. Hard to beat that.
