Heading to NYC in July for the World Cup final was a trip, mostly because I was just out there doing what I usually do—exploring the city, putting in the steps, and just soaking it all in.

I spent most of the time walking around, completely falling for Brooklyn and taking my time along the boardwalk. Catching the ferry back to Manhattan was easily one of the best parts—just being on the water and watching the skyline pull up. Walked into all these weird little local shops along the way, no real plan, just stopping into random spots every now and then to check the score of the game.

The whole energy of the city was buzzing, but to top the whole day off, Spain actually beat Argentina. Let’s go. Just a fantastic day all around.
