ABOUT ME
I was born in Kazakhstan and raised with a worldview shaped by contrast — tradition and innovation, grit and curiosity, the practical and the poetic. That background gave me a perspective that’s always been a little different. It taught me to look closely, to appreciate nuance, and to value stories that don’t fit neatly into boxes. That lens informs everything I do — from the way I frame a shot to how I move through the world.
My interests have never fit a mold, either. I shoot both film and digital. I experiment with AI, but I also spend hours painting or working with my hands. I grow my own food. I study martial arts. I build my own computers from scratch. I ride motorcycles. I cook. These are all a part of my and feed the same instinct: to create, to explore, to understand, to get better.
That mix of the tactile and the technological, the old-world and the future-facing, is what drives my work. I bring that perspective — grounded, curious, and always a little unexpected — to every photo and video project I take on.
